Setting up a home work lab
It has been a year already that i planned to setup a work lab at home, i am the kind of guy who always try everything that comes to my curious mind when it comes to networking, and i always stay late at the office just to satisfy myself of that craving. Anyway, it is just today that i finally made up my mind to buy networking equipment for my would be home-work-lab.

Finding good deals on the net is not that hard if you know your way around already, not to mention the very sophisticated google search engine is there to provide almost every information you need. I started searching for network equipment such as cisco, foundry, d-link, nortel, etc. but only on cisco equipment i found great deals on cisco routers and switches.

To cut the long story short, i bought 2 refurbished 1600 series routers, a 2000XL switch and a cisco 1800 series router, all from a network hardware specialist who happens to be just a few blocks away from where i live.
I will update you more on my home work lab setup later and some links too, where you can get good network equipment deals.
