Google and Friends OpenSocial
Google is spearheading a social network standard called OpenSocial, together with known and top subscribed social networking sites such as Friendster, Hi5, Ning, Flixter and Others. OpenSocial provides a common set of APIs for social applications for all participating social network sites and uses Javascript and HTML as primary set of language.
