If you are having “iertutil.dll was not found” problem, here’s how to fix it.

1. Prepare your copy windows xp installer and download this IEFix utility here.

2. Decompress/Unzip the download file and run the IEFix.exe and Click the Apply button, once prompted for the i386 folder, insert the windows xp installer cd. Click ok, the utility will then start copying internet explorer files including the missing iertutil.dll file.

3. Restart your computer.

The error should be fixed now.
