I have no problem with the webcam I use the Bison Driver provided, i can upload to you the driver if u want,, and a quick question, if u press the bluetooth button the bluetooth logo lights right, does this applys same to the WLAN button???, because my WLAN logo does not ligtht even if its turned on, the only indication i had is the monitor displays a text Wirless Lan On for a moment you press the WLAN button,,,thanks

yes, same as the bluetooth when active, the WLAN should have its light indicator active too when enabled.

When you press WLAN button on the left hand side of your laptop it shows that WLAN on and the light on this button starts to flink (orange light) and does not remain on continously as Bluetooth does (blue light). Please send me Bison driver for my webcam. I also have the same problem of webcam goes black immediately or after some time. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

if you want to install a 64bit xp on aspire 4530, check that you have all the 64bit drivers you need for the laptop to run smoothly, some drivers may not have 64bit versions.

Why would I know if my xp is 64bit version and the drivers im using.

According to the specs, acer aspire 4330 doesn’t come with a bluetooth module, you can however buy a usb bluetooth device.

Acer provided drivers for xp,
however the atheros wi-fi network controller is not working properly..
i tried installing vista and evrything worked fine, however i dont want to use vista.
i’m dowloading xp sp3 now, i hope it can fix it..

coz i am using an XP. i just download the cd driver that comes when u buy the laptop. just download the suyin webcam.

Hi.. I have an Acer Aspire 4530 a couple of months ago, everything in this laptop works properly until yesterday. I just found out that one of the features of my laptop is not working, which is the USB Realtek Card Reader. I used to transfer files, games and photos from my camera, psp and etc into my laptop using the card reader but it seems that since yesterday i can’t used it anymore. I already tried to re-install the driver for 3 times but nothing is happening and still not working… Please help..

Nice little laptop. Picked it up for $440 shipped. Installed XP and everything has been running great.

Only one problem, I can’t get my bluetooth mouse to recognize. Pressing the bluetooth button on to the left of the keyboard does nothing. It doesn’t even light up. Going into the bluetooth configuration or accessing the bluetooth in Control Panel tells me that no devices are connected or found. I did make sure to press the connect button on my mouse, btw.

The “Quick Guide” manual that came with my Aspire 4530-6823 says that it has “WPAN: Bluetooth 2.0+EDR”, and the site that I purchased it from listed the laptop with bluetooth as a feature. I also tried the XP bluetooth drivers on Acer’s product support site. Looking at Acer’s product page and Newegg’s listing for the same model, they don’t list bluetooth as a feature.

A quick peek at some blogs and forums reveal that some people have bluetooth on their 4530, and some claim that it doesn’t have such a feature. Do some models carry bluetooth while others do not?

Make sure you have the right driver version installed for your Fingerprint scanner. If you are using windows xp then you can download the driver above and install it.

Try to check on your device manager if the fingerprint scanner was installed and working properly. BTW, are you using vista or xp?

the only problem i am facing with my acer aspire 4530 is the stupid mic, it is receiving less sound, so i used my ussuall mic for me to be heard by my GF on yahoo. mic sucks and the video cant withstand hardcore games, cozz its a shared video. nontheless its a great laptop.

I use acer 4530…for the last 1 year, and have the same problem over web cam…and LAN….

But right know i’m trying tu upgrade my system in to 64 bit…

Is thre any sugestion….wich one is best, xp 64 bit, vista 64 bit or win 7 64 bit…..

As far as i know…for instaling xp 64 bit is not posible coz untuil now i can not get the drive for 64 bit.

Can some one help me to choose the rigt OS……
And provide an assistant over the driver of 64 bit system..
