dell is a great system in the modal of laptaps of vostroA840 but it has only one problem that after formatting it is too uneasy to install contextant audio device either from the dell drivers cd so DELL company should try to rectify it thaks to DELL for giving an oppurtunity to tell my feeling BYE

Make sure you have the previous installation removed and cleaned then reinstall the drivers in order, installing the UAA Bus driver first.

i have used xp sp2 and i can solve the problem of audio card as follow
first u have to download sp32646.exe
then make install to ur pc
then enter to device maneger
and made delet to audio file then made restart
then install the file r192894
then ur audio card will automatical recognized

I thnk its a good trick bt cn you help me to do it in hp g6000 with AMD 64 Athlonx2 and conexant audio device. It always tell me no media card found when am installing audio drivers and when am trying to add legacy hardware of sound,video and game controller of type conexant my OS suddenly corrupts by providing a blue screen with a lots of numbers then it shutdown in the middle of installation. I figured the only way to make my OS work again is startup reapair and system restore.

Am hopping to ear any advices from you guys and sorry for my ENGLISH.
