Pidgin Released Version 2.5.7 Fixed Yahoo Problem

As yahoo retires yahoo messenger versions 6.0 and 7.5, many yahoo messaging users using third party YM clients like Pidgin experienced problem connecting to yahoo messaging servers. Some users found a workaround to temporarily fixed the problem by using the following yahoo messaging server IPs as the pager server.
66.163.181.170
66.163.181.171
66.163.181.172
66.163.181.173
66.163.181.174
66.163.181.175
66.163.181.176
Though the above pager servers worked, it doesn’t guarantee a long term fix of the problem. Hence, on June 20, version 2.5.7 of Pidgin was released to address the issue and fixed the problem.
