Peplink Balance Multi-WAN router provides high performance and load-balanced internet connection to internet demanding businesses by combining multiple internet connection from different ISPs (internet service providers). It can combine up to seven (7) different internet connections depending on the Multi-WAN router model.

With multiple connections, it is unavoidable that few applications such session based authentication used by most of the webmail clients will not always work for the reason that IP address keeps on changing depending on which port the packets goes to, so here’s how to bind specific host to a specific WAN port.

1. Login to the Multi-WAN router administration page.

2. Click on Network, under the left menu click on NAT Mappings.

add nat rule

3. Click on Add NAT Rule, under the LAN Host box, type in the IP address of the host or computer to map to a specific WAN port.

4. If connection type is incoming, check the box of the corresponding WAN port in the inbound table and check the box in the outbound table if it is outgoing.

save or cancel button

5. When done, click on SAVE button and restart the Peplink Multi-WAN router.
