windows

You are usually asked when you open a browser and there’s no default browser set yet on the system. This guide is to change that default browser set, i.e if you want to change from IE to Firefox as the default web browser or the other way around.

So here it is.

1. Click START then open CONTROL PANEL.

2. Inside the control panel, look for ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS and open it.

3. On the left navigation icons, click on SET PROGRAM ACCESS/DEFAULTS.

4. Click on CUSTOM button and under the CHOOSE A DEFAULT BROWSER and tick the MOZILLA FIREFOX or IE depending on which browser you prefer to use.
