Hi.. can you help me change my OS to XP. I’m currently using WIN7 starter since it is included in the package. I have an XP installer however, during the reformatting session with my laptop I always encounter an error that says “A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer” can anyone help me how to change my OS into XP.
BTW, the laptop is ACER ASPIRE 4736z-452G32MN…
Thank you…:)

You just need to access the BIOS when the window starts, then change the SATA mode to IDE then the Stop error will now be resolve.

all the drivers uploaded really being helpful man. I got a situation for u. Recently i downloaded drivers of the Acer Aspire 4736z from the net. My colleague got the same brand of laptop (Acer Aspire 4736Z) and both of us using the same drivers. Lucikly she got all the drivers installed and its not working in my laptop. i notice that my version of laptop in newer than her in terms of the processor. So my question, is the Processor model number does effect the drivers being installed?

Batman @ 1:37 pm:

Azri,

It has to do with the chipset; your chipset is different from that of your friend’s laptop. It has nothing to do with the processor.

thanks
